looking to drop some weight off of my cockpit, which is currently SL-K post and stem with PRO Vibe bars. Id like them to match, and i only have a budget of about 600 bucks.....any viable options? Id love to score some Vuka bars but unless i find them used theyre out of my price range.

If you elect to spend $600 in this effort you MAY save
40 grams on the post
20 grams on the stem
50 grams on the bar
This is not advisable.
Pro vibe makes nice alloy stems that will match the bars. Look for last years model at half the current prices.
Fizik cyrano is a nice carbon post available for under $125
If I had $600 I would keep your cockpit and maybe get a nice wheelset.

thanks for the reply reggie, i was curious to see how much $ it would take to shave off some weight on the cockpit. Id like a set of light tubies but the roads around where i live are pretty rough and im afraid they would flat pretty frequently so id like to stay with clinchers. Im running Ksyrium SLs now and like the ride and reliability of them. Any suggestions for a lightweight clincher? I know i will have to wait though as they will be much more than 600 bucks...
