Evo CX v Evo SC v Veloflex Corsa

I reckon the three of these 23mm clincher tires are roughly the same speedwise so I'm interested in wet weather grip and puncture protection. The CX's, 320tpi, seem to have gained a reputation for poor wet grip, the SC's appear to address this issue but are they the same or worse for puncture protection? Veloflex have a reputation for good grip but I don't know how they compare for puncture resistance. I'm looking here at race tires for an ironman that could potentially be wet and I always find that this is the most likely time to get a puncture with small stones etc getting washed onto the road. Not really considering other brands, found Continentals really difficult to mount previously.
