Hi Guys, Im hoping someone can help with my confusion.

Basically I am looking to buy a new stem and I Currenty use a 17 degree angle stem on my bike.

The new stem I am looking at which is a Deda Zero 100 says that the angle is 84 degrees. Now I want a stem with the same angle which I am currently running i.e 17 degree and im getting confused by how deda state there angles/degree.

Can any one tell me how would the deda's 84 degree compare with my own stems 17 degree drop. My stem is a zipp service course of it helps.

Many thanks,
Dan

84 is the same as 6 degrees, if you look at it from a 90degree angle compared to your 17 degree stem. So it would point sligthly upwards instead of parallel with the ground.

I thought Deda only makes 82 and 86 degree stems? If 82, then it will raise the bar by 20mm-ish compared to the -17.

The amount swapping to a different angle will raise the bars by depends on the length of the stem.

Yes, assuming the typical range is 110-120.
