No glue - there should be enough to create a solid bond with what's on the tyre and what's left on the rim when you remove the old one.

That was my theory- just wanted some confirmation that I was not about to Schoolboy error it 50 miles from home.

Anyway- thanks for the guide, that Corsa Evo CX is literally half the size if was before, much more efficient in terms of jersey pocket usage.

Got me a TUFO Elite Jet <160 as a spare for this year. The nice thing about this one is that it fits a tool bottle when rolled up double-loop style (see page 1), allowing for better use of the remaining space.

Here is how I fold mine. It's thin enough to slide into the skinny middle pocket on my Assos jerseys.
