Been using the new group for two weeks, love it. OK the crank(170mm), with spindle, spacers, ect it was 558g on my scale, very good(BUT!), took the outer ring off, 150 grams, Damn!! With a TA Heoga 52t on it(86 grams) brought it down to 494g, shifts just as good also, very happy. I think for the money you can not find a lighter stiffer crank. BTW the 39t weighs in at 33g.

That's why I love TA rings.

Are you sure about the weights?

150g seems really a lot for an alloy chainring. 33g for a 39t chainring seems too low on the other hand :noidea:

With this weight, this would make it lighter than the Hollowgram SL's, right ? So doesn't it make this a better buy now with its price around 40% of he hollowgrams ?

Yes, and if stiffness of the rings are a concern just get Paxis rings, that would put the whole set up at 500 grams and still be stiff with perfect shifting. Cranks are going for $400 on ebay

No eBay links please!

...on a scale.

Just because, you know, as someone who has been a member since 2003 would be familiar with, scale shots are required for verity on this forum.
