I saw today on mavics website that they seem to have dropped the clincher version of the Cosmic Pro SL. There is a disc version and tubular version. Anyone know why?

There is a new Cosmic Pro UST but that weights in over 1600g. Why all of a sudden so much heavier?

The SL UST seemed to get plenty of good reviews. There is a Comete SL that comes in at 1520 for a 64mm rim.

Strange...

Isn't that the Comete?

When I look under

I only see tubular or disc variants

US site looks like is being updated. Not all the new wheels are on there

I'm pretty sure that's just an oversight on the web and the Pro SL UST will be continuing. The new Pro shares the same rim but with a low end hub.

Hope so. Was planning on buying the SL. Like the new finish for this year with no big stickers

It looks like everything including the wheels introduced last year are getting simplified graphics updates, so they removed the 2018 Cosmic Pro SL UST, but forgot to list the 2019 version.

The Ksyrium Pro SL UST Disc looks great...Mavic has finally gone truly wide with a 21mm internal measurement. This wheelset has been listed on various retail sites for a year, but never on Mavic’s own site.

The Ksyrium carbon USTs were announced to retailers last year with the rest of the UST wheels then never became available to order - possibly the delay was because they decided the old width wasn't competitive and made a late call to redesign.
