385g is really the limit of what a lightweight, alloy rim can be. Even at that, these lightweight rims aren't for everybody.

I went through 3 rims last year, due to spoke holes crack front and rear and drive and non-drive. My last build I added nipple washers and I hope that keeps the wheels from issues.
If not I will be onto V2

Anyone know when these are coming out?
I'm thinking I want to snatch up the v1.0 before it's too late. Been perfectly happy with mine.

so much for the lightest alloy rim in the market. i never liked the stories of spokes lossing tension when the tire was inflated. i do love the idea of a wide rim design, but a low rim wall paired with a tubeless set up sounds like asking for trouble.

re lighter carbon disc rim ....doubt the rim will be much lighter than now....... there is relatively little material in the cross section for the brake track now.....
with the cross spoke, additional hub mass for the disc mount and the disc itself, i would expect a COMPARIBLE perfromance wheelst to be heavier with disc... no alot but still more...
Braking will however be bloody brilliant and less worry of a buckle buggering the ride etc etc... aero perhaps better too as the brake track flat will be gone... although this will be off set of less aero spokes and more frontal area of the disc and hub.....
All in you can see why there hasn't been a sprint to get road disc going..
