tokenalso makes a nice bb30 adapter for shimano cranks. They are machined aluminum and are red anodized to boot. I can look up the part number if anyone is interested.

Very interesting video bulletin.

So this is now a glue-fit 30 ?

Sometimes it really does not feel like progress.

I liken it to how companies used to (and still do sometimes) bond in aluminum bb sleeves for english threads or bb30. Except this time, theyre plastic and its a diy job.

Hey quick question, so I have to replace the bearings in a Sl4 OSBB frame. It seems after reading all this I can just order BB30 bearings for it, is that right? Or do I need them direct from Specialized?

Has anybody heard of or tired the Hawk-Racing BBS bottom bracket? i have an sl4 and i wanted to run di2 on it. I have tried the praxis rings, the specialized rings and the s-works specialized rings, none of them offer the same shifting performance as the sl3 with english threaded cups and DA cranks and rings. some ring combos on the specialized crank caused me to drop the chain, get it jammed between the rings, all kinds of nightmares! I then found this. Its made to adapt the 46x61mm OSBB carbon shell down to shimano 24mm. no spacers no glue. just light press fit into frame followed by the cranks. Machined 1 piece out of delrin in the USA. they are only $119 had mine in for 3 weeks no noise no complaints and DA CRANKS AND RINGS 8)

Anyone got any specific recommendations for BB30 Bearings (a link would be a bonus!)? Need to replace the original SRAM Red bearings on my S-Works and looking for options.

Thanks.

Why do you want to replace them ?
I just bought a new set of these because they are made by Ceramicspeed for Sram in Danemark .
Before I used the original bearings from Enduro.
There was also a littele amount of Ceramicspeed blue grease with them.

Sorry, wording should have been, my current, old, Sram Red BB30 bearings will need to be replaced with shiny new ones.

Anyone provide links to a reputable replacement. Thanks.
