Hi guys,
I have a customer who is going to Europe to ride a few stages of le Tour this summer, and needs a new cassette. As it says in the post, he's riding Campagnolo 10spd (record). He had a custom made titanium cassette previously that had 11-12-13-15-17-19-21-23-25-28 toothing, but that cassette is worn and needs to be replaced. I've been using the google machine to find something, but so far have failed (except for the relatively heavy IRD elite campy cassette [302g claimed]), so I'm hoping that somebody on here can help.
I really appreciate your help!

Miche makes cassettes for Campy. Maybe one of those

You can also make custom configurations with individual cogs and spacers.

I combined two campag cassettes to make my own 12-29 hybrid Works great. I' betting you could configure a 11-29 as well.

Do you think there would be an issue with taking my 11-25 cassette, removing the 25 cog and replacing it with a 29 from a 13-29? Would it be too big of a jump?

On the better quality cassettes such as Record and Chorus and older Centaur, the two largest cogs are joined as a pair. So, you'd need to fiddle around more with the cogs. I'd say remove the 14, use the 11-13 and 15 from your 11-25 and use the cogs from 17-29 from a 13-29. Or wait for one of the 12-30s that Campy has just announced for 10 speed. It won't be perfect but if it's for a trip rather than a race you can probably live with it. I've used 12-15 from a 12-25 with 17-29 from a 13-29 with no problems.

Buying two veloce cassettes say 11-23 and a 13-29 and combine to make the cassete you want. I suppose you could do the same with a record 13-29 cassette and a veloce 11-23 cassette but you will likely end up with more a jump a the begining of the cassette. The Veloce cassette use seperate spockets. In the U.K the miche sprocket boards are almost impossoble to sources nbow as RJ chickens have stopped doing them, Condor only import what they use and Company Z no longer exist.

As already mentioned, which cassettes allow switching cogs is a concern. But the 23 to 29 jump is not a problem. I ran a 13-26 nine speed cassette and replaced the 26 cog with a 28 cog and it shifted just fine. That was with 1998 Chorus rear derailleur and a Veloce loose cog cassette and someone who made an individual 28 cog for Campagnolo. Can't remember who made the 28 cog.

I have a veloce 11-25 that I haven't used yet and just bought a veloce 13-29 and will try putting these together.

Thanks for the help everyone!
