Hi everybody,

I am planning on polishing my Deda Newton bars, but to do so I first need to remove the coating on the bars. I am guessing the bars are powder coated. Can anyone confirm this? Just to make sure I am using the right stuff to remove the coating.

Why don't you just get the polished version, they're not that expensive & is there a risk of altering the handlebars strength?

The polished version is also coated, so it won't help me to remove the coating before polishing.

The regular bars are just anodized... san/polish away.
