There is nothing wrong with a traditional build. It what I would use for someone with your requirements. Some was telling me today my traditional wheels were heavy until I tolf him they were 1540g! He was surprised. For stiffness and durability more spokes is hard to beat.
DT Swiss RR465 rims, velocity A23 or H+ plus sons Archetypes.

DT RR465 32F/32R DA 7900 hubs Sapim CX-ray spokes alloy nipples weight 1630g.
Velocity A23 rims 28F/32R on DA hubs with CX-ray spkes/alloy nipples weight 1600g
H+ sons archetype rins 28F/32R on DA hubs ith CX-ray spkes/alloy nipples 1645g

The DA 7900 hubs are 380g and there is little better imo. There are lighter hubs but you need to be honest with yourself (no offense intended) at 95kg and assuming an 8 kg bike these builds represent 1.6% of your weight. There are lighter hubs (and lighter wheels) but the weight difference is in the order of 100-150g. This will make little difference to rate at which you will climb. I am 80kg and use traditional 28 spoke wheels on my main bikes. I am no faster on a low spoke count wheels. speed is in your legs.

This mono diet of low spoke count wheels realy does distort riders expecations of what a good wheel is.

I'm 110 kg and have had no issues either with aksiums ( mind you they were the first version) on my hack bike or elites on my star bike. Is it safe to go with Campy Zonda's or Eurus at my lardiness?

These are the wheels I have. I am 270 and have no issues with them. For 400 bucks, 1530 grams. They are plenty stiff and comfy. You cant go wrong-David

Most likely yes. I'm fully 35kg lighter than you, but many people of around your mass ride Zondas, Eurus and other Campagnolo wheels with no issues.

With the alu spokes, if anything the Eurus are a bit stouter, but the ride quality is a bit harsher also.

I think you would be much better off with a nice alloy clincher rather than a cheap carbon one. With that said, you could always consider building up the XC279 from Kinlin. It would give you decent aero capabilities, without breaking the bank. It is a super stiff rim too which is nice for bigger riders like us. Those laced up the new Alchemy hubs could be a great option for a stiff, bombproof wheelset.
