But if he's actually feeling it in his pedal/shoe along with the 'knock' (not a 'tick') then it's more than the cable being hit on the opposite side.
It's a BB issue.

exactly, it is not a knock on the cable on the other side, if that was the case it would be in every revolution but it is not, sometimes it is quite and sometimes it is ticking. And it feels as if it is in the pedal but as I said I changed 2 different sets of pedal and same noise. Crazy..,! I'll take it to my LBS I'll let them to ride it and to figure out.
