So, I've wanted a Cannondal SuperSix for ages but am sick of waiting for the right size to appear on 'that' auction site.

I'm now considering other frames, as long as they're comparable ie. similar price, handling, acceleration as well as BB30.

Any suggestions?

Get a CAAD10, same handling, acceleration, BB30, weight almost and a tad cheaper...

I'm another +1 on the caad10, it's a great bike. The Focus Izalco i also very similar in geometry.

+1 on the caad10

I have the caad and the supersix evo, and Im pretty convinced on a blind test, Id only say.. well this bike (evo) is a tinny bit more confortable.

but wait, this would be with the same wheels. the caad with nice wheels and tires (im thinking of the DT swiss or the zipp firecrests, the one I have) is better than the evo with more regular wheels (say ksyriums or clincher shimanos). in particular, I climb, corner and accelarate better with the caad on my dt swiss rrc32 with nice tubulars than on the evo with dura ace tubeless, which are not bad wheels on any sense. even if you cant find the more expensive wheels on a good deal, I think just the chance of spending less on the frame and upgrading wheels later alone is worth buying the caad. plus if you race you'd be more "confortable" going with the aluminium frame.

You guys are pretty convincing. I didn't really want an Al bike, but I'm being swayed, gradually. Any experience with the Six13? How about the carbon Synapse?

On a side note. Anyone have any of these frames in a 48/50cm they wanna sell?

Another option I came across was a Canyon Ultimate CF. Can anyone confirm if it's BB30?

Why not buy one from your LBS?

Unfortunately my fiscal position doesn't afford me a new frame :(

It does however have a pressfit (BB86 me thinks) so it certainly is 'oversized' in that dept.

Really? So I could fit a Hollowgram crankset...?

On a separate note, any opinions on the Focus Cayo frame?
