Once the axle is out, knock them out with some type of punch, striking the inner steel race. Rotate around the hub shell body and use light knocks, and you should feel the bearing begin to come out.

Getting new bearings back in is slightly tricker, since it is possible to toast them if you press them in uneven. It is best to make some sort of bearing press. You can do this using washers, the old bearings, and a threaded axle.

simple design of front hubs.

I did it. bearings bed was too tight, so beraing was squeezed and has more friction.

You can use quite a bit of force to get the old bearings out, since you will not be using them anyway. No rubber hammer necessary. When inserting new bearings, I would use a plastic hammer. Also make sure to put a bit of grease on the hub where the bearing will end up. This will make installation (and removal) easier.
