Duh... pre Black Chili does not apply. Check your dates... and cross reference with the couple of dozen other tests published on the internet.

There's no tests on them since they just recently came out, but the Specialized Roubaix Armadillos/Roubaixs seem to have a much lower RR than Gatorskins. My 25s ride a lot smoother, and I've had them on since early December riding about 14-20hrs/week on them and they're still going strong.

It all has to do with where you ride, what you're riding, and how careful you are. Its not like tubulars have some magical flat resistant quality because they're glued on or that the casing is so much more puncture resistant because the tube is sewn in. Good tires are good tires, bad tires are bad tires.

I decided to run Veloflex Master 22 w/ latex last year.....till I punctured 5 times in a month. Lovely ride, but I would even say in the wet they were sub par. I've switched to tubeless (Hutchinson Fusion 3) for training and wet racing and tubs for nice days when you want to feel special and race days (Evo CX, conti comp and sprinter gatorskin). I can't say enough about the tubeless in the rain, they rock. On my touring wheels I still run Conti 4 season 25's and they roll like crap vs my other options (but seem not to flat).

With either of those set ups you're negating pretty much any pinch-flat possibility while also decreasing your rolling resistance and increasing grip by running them at lower pressures. :beerchug:

The Attack and Force use the same casing as the GP4000, but with less tread. The Supersonic ditches the breaker belt and has even less tread. I haven't seen that one tested by Tour.
