I have a BSA powermeter on my road bike and want to use it on my BB30 frame. I plan to buy the SRAM BB30 to BSA Adaptor Kit

Does this kit install easily? I.e. do I just remove BB30 crank and then put the adapter sleeve and cups in the BB30 shell along with the BB30 bearings? Will it require any special tools to install?

Many thanks in advance for answers as I have a stage race tomorrow which incorporastes a ITT so would be great to have the PM on the TT bike.

You need a press tool (similar to the headset press tool), and it's very easy to push it in. I use a home made tool (a threaded rod + two big nuts and spacers).

you can also use a vice and some 2x4 pieces to push it in. my adapter slipped in without presses - the BB30 bearings took a light press.
