Are the saddle dimensions listed? I cannot imagine the length being all that long; I am more curious about the width.

I'm currently debating on buying this:

http://archteks.en.alibaba.com/product/ ... =eUn-Named" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Chinese Carbon Saddle

95g (90-100g) and 128x273mm

$62 and $10 shipped to USA.

I'd have to wait 2-3 weeks to get it but it looks to have the best cutout I've seen so far. Just a bit worried that having so much cutout (the split in the rear of it) might cause it flex too much and potentially break if I shift my weight too much to one of the back corners.

Edit: After further investigating it appears to be a replica of the Selle San Marco Superleggera and Aspide saddles:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/88 ... 1.jpg/sr=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.wekeepyoucycling.com/en/p-70 ... addle.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I submitted an order and I'll post back when it gets here (probably 2-3 weeks)

I use the Tioga Spyder Twin Tail Saddle, which suits me very well for any length ride ... 142gms/$50 ... http://idealcycles.bikeit.com.au/bike_a ... /100131485

I also use a 40 year old Super Courier saddle, which suits me very well for any length ride :-)

since this is WW, I thought I'd mention that I weighed a SMP Full Carbon recently: 126g (still pretty light, but quite a bit more than 105g)

I have one, and it weighs nearly 190g. I also have a Turbomatic Team Edition saddle that is overweight versus what they advertise. In my limited first-hand experience, I have found Selle Italia very inconsistent and inaccurate in this aspect.

No one has mentioned the saddles from Dash Cycles (http://www.dashcycles.com/).

Check out the Stage.9 saddle. It definitely has a cutout and is 99g with padding. It will also make your wallet REALLY light in the process.

I recently picked up a Tri.7 saddle from Dash Cycles as a part of the rebuild I'm doing on my tri bike (Zipp 2001 frame from 1995). I have never been too thrilled with the ISM Adamo saddle I have on it as it is too heavy, not all that comfortable, and the wide nose rubs the thighs. I am big fan of the Un~Saddle (on both my road and mountain bike), but the frame doesn't have a seat post so I can't use an Un~Saddle. I haven't tested the Tri.7 out yet so I can't really comment on it other than it is super light. The Tri.7 had some really postive reviews though (http://www.tririg.com/articles.php?id=2011_07_Dash_T7_Review) so I thought I would give it a try.

Here is my modified SLR carbonio that I cut the center out of and then reupholstered. It currently weighs at 119g.

Williams (the wheel people) recently started selling saddles, and I'm pretty impressed. They advertise this one with a cutout at 149g.

I bought the one without a cutout, advertised at 159g, and it came in at 155g. And it has similar padding (maybe a bit more) than the San Marco Magma I'm coming off (which I loved). No long miles on it yet, but I am very optimistic.

Awesome, thanks! Never would have looked at Williams for a saddle.

So this looks like it is quite stubby from the pictures, is that right? It looks quite interesting, hate the graphics though :?

Yes, that is correct but mine is 2 years old (and I weigh 190/87). It still seems to be fine, actually like new. Hmm, although one thing I did do though was to epoxy the front rail to the seat holder that holds it in place. That part looked a little weak, but otherwise it is original ...

That Williams does look good, doesn't it :-)

Did 215kms yesterday with the Mega SQ1 over very rough and shitty roads and it holds up fine, very happy with it. I think it's more comfortable on the long stuff from my Tune komm-vor+ :(

Was the :( because of the price difference?
