I just peeled the stickers off my MV32C UL rims.
The stickers weigh 10 grams.

next, strip the clearcoat and paint off your frame...

then scrape the logos off your tires...

No joke: Do you have any idea what people pay for 10 grams when upgrading to Campy Super-Record? Nicely done.

This is Weight Weenies, and 10 grams off the outer circumference of a wheelset is 10 grams where it matters most.
If you think that saving 10 grams on your wheels FOR FREE is lame, you are probably posting on the wrong forum.

I took two of the Reynolds stickers and all the Attack stickers from a pair of Attacks and saved 8 grams. Free weight loss and it was easy since they are just stickers on top of the clear coat. I also think the wheels look less garish with only one name per side per wheel.

BTW, The main reason I removed the labels was aesthetics.
I wanted to be able to mix and match the MV32C ULs with a set of DV46Cs that I had removed the labels from because they had been damaged. I collected the removed labels and posted the weight because I thought it would be an interesting piece of information for the WWs that own, or are considering owning, a set of Reynolds wheels.
They were easy to remove, and 10 grams of labels is 10 grams saved. I'm surprised more weight weenies aren't removing the stickers from their wheelsets. They generally don't blend with the frame graphics anyway, and I really like the unadulterated carbon look of the Reynolds wheels sans labels.

A friend of mine removed decals off of his Reynolds dv46 as well, saving 24g of rotational weight.

post a pic! I have a pair of DV46Cs. I thought about pulling everything off except for 1 reynolds wording off.

For anyone who is curious, the complete set of decals on a set of EDGE 68mm rims weighs 15 grams. (7.5 grams per wheel) And on a set of 1.25 rims is around 2 grams. (1 gram per wheel)

My Assaults sans decals are 1494g. They were about 1515g before, but that was +/- 5 grams or so.
