I have been scouring the web searching for crankset options for a BB30 Caad10, but on a budget. The crankset that comes with the bike is a SRAM Force in 175, and I ride 172.5. I am leaning toward getting another set of Force cranks. However, if there are other options I would love to hear about them.

While Cannondale SISL would be great, they are outside my budget. It looks like I can get Force cranks for $250, and I would like to stay in that ballpark. However, if I could spend a little more to get something better, that would be great.

Thanks for the help! :D

If you are open to used, you can get a Hollowgram SI for around $300-350 depending on condition. Seems like the best bet based on your budget. If you want new, go with Force.

yeah, but look out. BB30 bottom brackets and cranks are notorious for unresolved creaking issues. And there is no way to tell if you are going to get a frame that is susceptible to the creaking noise.

9,000 miles on my BB30 frame with no noise and going strong. :noidea:

the older SRAM red's in BB30 seem to be going pretty cheap these days...

Go to Google. Type in "BB30 creaking issues". Read the tons of info from other users all across different forums. Now you don't have to play so innocent.

No need to go personal. I was just making a statement by my experience to refute your experience. Go to google and type in "BB86 creaking" "BB90 creaking" "English threaded creaking" ...etc. An improperly setup crank/bb will have issues. A properly setup will not from my experience. YMMV.

No offense but FSA probably isn't going to offer as much bang for the buck compared to a SRAM setup.

Specialised carbon BB30 cranks(Lightning designed/manufactured?) are great bang for buck, nearly as light as Holograms if not as light and they seem to pop up quite often on Ebay, fitted a set to my mates SuperSix a few months ago, he loves 'em :D
