There are a lot of choices here, you got someone who can build for you? Or do you want factory/box set

That is an excellent price, even Maestro are about 950GBP
They are a heavy wheel but basically bullet proof.

Get two pairs of Chinese 50mm tubular rims, coupled to Bikehubstore hubs. Crits=crashes. Think how many times people have stacked it in the chicane at Llandow.

I must have been cursed last season but my DengFu tubs have survived 3 pileups (only 1 was a crit mind).

Guy - good point about LLandow!
I am leaning towards the fast forward F6R - 1350 grams seems inredibly light for a wheelset of that depth at that price. But ive heard really good things about them so ill probably take the plunge.
Thanks all
Rhys.

try http://www.wheelsmith.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; as you'll pay less and have a repairable wheel should the worst happen. My 50mm clinchers in matt UD finish came in a 1428g so tubs will be less just bare in mind different finishes are different weights but Derek will provide fab advice. Mine used Novatec Superlight hubs, cx rays and Gigantex rims. Tried them today for the first time and they were superb, no issues in cross winds, I use Open Corsa Evo CX clinchers with latex tubes, really smooth and no problems even over the short (500m) cobbled sections I rode at 120psi.
