The non-drive side of the hub is the adjustment side. On old hubs, the bearing adjustment is completed with cone wrenches. On the 7900 hubs, adjustment is done with a 'micro-click' system. On the older hubs, just adjust the bearing and snug-up the lockring. It takes a bit of trial and error to learn how much play you need to make it perfect once the lockring and the wheel is tight in the dropout.
