Post subject: Yokozuna / Mathauser Brake pads

Anyone use these? My swissstop black pads got eaten alive during a very wet 109 mile ride 2 weeks ago. I figured for $15 shipped for 2 pairs (the salmon ones) they were worth a shot -

anyone have any experience with these?

So they arrived today - I put them on the bike and went for a 2 minute spin on my driveway. First impressions are good. They seem to stop as well or better than the swissstop black or 7900 pads I've used.

I'll report back after I have a few good rides with them.

if theyre anything like the original mathauser pads, i believe they have pumice in the pad as an abrasive. does a good job of cleaning anodizing off a rim. theyre supposed to last a long while, but i would bet the rims take a toll because of it.
