Post subject: 3 Bolts On My Downtube?

So I have a new BMC SLR and I didn't ask the shop about this as I didn't notice it until I got home. 3 bolts on the downtube. Other than different bottle cage placement can I also use this for a Di2 or EPS battery placement? The frame is external cable.

I currently have the downtube botle mount on the top two bolts leaving the bottom bolt in place

All of the 47cm SLR01 framesets have a third bidon bolt so you can run one cage lower down (larger bottle/easier access) or two cages per any other bike.
