So i am building up a new Cervelo s1 and need to order new bars, love my existing 3t ergonova pros on my other bike but feel that i should go for carbon bars up front to reduce some road buzz from the alu frame. FWIW I ride for pleasure around long ashton in bristol on poor roads on 30-50 milers. Does anyone have experience of riding the pros vs the team version. Or any other suggestions on shallow short carbon bars at around the 170 quid mark?

I used both the pro and team, and didn't really notice more comfort, just lighter.

+1. The team bars are a bit bulkier on the flat section of the bar as well.

i can confirm: no difference between pro/team in handling or comfort.
as said: team is much lighter.
optically i even prefer the pros white/black colour-scheme, because the team has this large red section, which not even matches the red of the arx-team stem.

Yep its annoying the reds do not match on the team bar and stems. This is ww after all though to i may go black stealth stem and red team bars. Should look tidy with the s1s black red colour scheme anyway.

I don't have experience of a comparison, but I do have a set of Nova Team 44cm that I don't use any more (I've switched to using a deeper drop bar)

I use both - team on my personal bike and pro on my race bike ... I think a good question to ask yourself is do you think you're going to be hitting the pavement with the bike

You can also get the stealth models in team if you don't care for the red.
