I have seen these advertised with 36mm valves some places and 42mm other places. Apparently, the length can be a bit random:

I'm considering the Extremes for a 33mm deep wheelset. Will I need extensions if I end up with the 36mm valves?

just use an extender anyway so all pumps will fit regardless. there is so many different lengths of valve extender one that will fit perfectly wont be hard to find
