I've been using this http://alex.phred.org/stemchart/Default.aspx website to compare different stem angles to figure out how much difference there is between different stem angles/lengths. It seems to give pretty reasonable results but can anyone else speak to the accuracy of this model? For example, see my pic. Can I use a 6* stem + 10mm spacers to ditch the goofy cone spacer and 10* stem on my CAAD10 and still have the same bar position?

The formula is simple:

Drop = sin(angle) * Length

a 110mm stem at 6 degrees has sin(6) * 110 = 11.498
same at 10 degrees = 19.1

The difference is the height to add or remove.

Note that your bars will also move slightly reachwise because of the steerer angle when adding/removing spacers.

Yes, it a convenient and accurate stem calculator.
