...so it looks like they are 2:1 DS:NDS laced to improve tension balance with the slightly longer cassette?

Some interesting news...

There are rumors that the new Shimano DA 11 speed wheels will have to be 131mm, so no idea how that is gonna fit in a 130mm spaced rear hub.

So has Zipp's patent on toroidal rims expired? :beerchug: Because ya know everybody's going to be making them this way now.

Does anybody know if Shimano will no longer offer shallow rim carbon tubular wheelsets, like the old 7801/7850 versions with the 28 mm front rim and 24 mm rear rim? For 2011 (2012?), they quit making them, with the C35 being the shallowest tubular carbon wheelset they offered. Those wheelsets offered great aero for the rim depth, were the lightest wheelsets Shimano ever made, and even then, rode at least 100 gms lighter due to most the weight being at the hubs.

Like I said in the other thread... Go take out your rear wheel and measure the actual spacing on your frame, no matter how high end ... its gonna be at least 131mm.
