Sorry spartan I can't. I haven't seen the article. I got the info from the Storck website. It's on their home page.

I think the result is based on factual tests and the real problem I don't think is bias but that lots of possible contenders are missed out. And that's not down to Tour. Some manufacturers choose not to be in it or for some totally valid reason their bikes aren't available.

I don't know if the Evo was even in the test.

The photo here suggests the Evo was in it:

Has anyone actually read the test article in Tour? I wonder who did win.

Yes, read the article. Storck and C'dale both no. 1. However C'dale better StW ratio and higher comfort. Storck wins over brake and fork integration and weight.

So a German bike and one of the most boring (riding/ handling) bikes on the market win. Interesting.

I haven't ridden an Evo but one thing the Tour test doesn't asses is ride quality which is a shame because that's what the 0.6 really excels in. I also haven't ridden every quality frame but I have got an R5 and a 0.6. The R5 has to be one of the top 10 bikes in the world but the 0.6 rides like a Farrari compared to the R5 which rides like a ford. My guess is the Evo would be in the R5 level when it comes to ride quality, in fact probably below it.

Bike score (overall, aero frame score, frame score
1. Cannondale super six Evo ultimate 1.8, 3.0, 1.5
1. Storck Fascenario 0.6 1.8, 3.0, 1.5
3. Canyon CF SLX 9.0 LTD 1.9, 4.0. 1,3
4. Cervelo R5 Ca 1.9, 4.0, 1.4
5. Scott Foil Team Issue 2.1, 2.0, 2.1

Biggest let-down (for me) is the S-works Mclaren (€15.000)

Very uncomfortable, average torsional stiffness, average weight.
Lowest weight R5Ca 56cm 727 grams
Best overall: Cannondale and Storck
Best comfort: Canyon
Best allround: Scott Foil
Best aerodynamics: Specialized

OK so Cannondale and Storck draw.

It looks like all the main players are in this Tour test this time. Not one Italian frame in that top 6 though. I guess the Italian frames are generally just too heavy to figure in this test. Bar Willier of course that do knock out a pretty light frame.
