I believe that's why they put bearings in headsets, so you can turn the fork around.

Wow, can a second bottle even fit there with the battery? I didn't realize they had no integration for the Di2 Battery

1. McLaren logo. Cost = FREE

2. White Decal. Cost = variable, estimated $20USD

3. Carbon Frame. Cost = variable, $500-5,000USD depending on what you want to believe.

McLaren bike but no Marlboro logo or day glo red/white scheme? Disappointing form, Specialized...

Hey Craig (tcw).
thanks for posting the pic mate.

I am for once really excited to see the McLaren in the "flesh".
What's it really like? Apart from the obvious colour differences, how does it compare to standard Venge?

I think this is one of the few bikes (nowadays) that's not "disposable" to to speak.
I wonder if McLaren will keep it's value and "wow" factor better than your regular Parlees, Colganos and the likes?

Actually, it is a bit 'underwhelming'.

Is it stiff. Absolutely. Is it light? Aero? Yes, probably. I honestly can't tell that it is any different than any other World Tour bike in my collection. I would like to try an S-Works Venge and my McLaren back-to-back to see if there is any obvious difference. Interestingly, the Team version has the battery on the underside of the down tube.

Still can't help but think McLaren could have done a significantly better job not being saddled with Specialized's design. Will be interesting to see its frame weight. If it isn't lighter than the S5 VWD, it hold no advantage at all
