I think that news is O.L.D... that is what I think.

Was owned/built/modified/worked over by Gunther Mai.....I have the wheels from it (from waaaaaaay back when it was 3.3kg). Gunther did monster K's on this bike and had it as light as 2.9kg himself. Spin elGato BTW.

This is old news, but I can't remember what the frame weighed. Anybody know?

Hey no fair...I can't get all of the 'one-off' custom goods from THM and those other companies.

This is an amazing bike. It might be old news, but always cool to look at and hear peoples views. Does anyone know what Gunther is doing these days? .

While impressive, if a light bike is ever to come into its own, it should be on steep climbs. Yet the lowest gear per the configuration indicated is 36/16 (with 700c tires), which is not very low at all. I'm not sure why the builder did not go with a 34 tooth small ring, which would have saved a little weight and provided a lower low gear at the same time - would the FD not be up to the task? Or perhaps, despite the ultra-light weight, the bike was not used for serious climbs.
