Hello all,
I've been using rotor q rings on my ultegra 6700 for a while and I like it. Of course it has that Frankenstein looking one ;)
Recently I've been planning to replace he crank to rotor 3d, sorry no fund yet fot the "+".
My q, what is the benefit for me weight wise and stiffness??... Thanks....

A couple of things, the 3D+ is exactly the same crank, but for BB30, so if you're bike has a standard bottom bracket, you want the 3D version. I have no idea how the weight compares to the Ultegra, but I can say that the 3D is plenty stiff and very nice looking (been riding that for a full season and I'm sticking with it)

Actually, the 3D and 3D+ are different in all parts. Arms are a bit wider on 3D+, spider is different, and obviously the spindle is thicker.

Stiffnesswise, they are almost equal, but the 3D+ is app. 45 grams lighter.
