What is the "lump"/irregularity at the toptube/seattube junction?
Seems to be different than on the Madones..what is the structure there?

Excited by a Trek which looks like a Specialized?

So why not just get a Specialized?

I think its because he is a huge Tony Montana fan. Swedish mobster that Cancellara is and everything....

The downtube cable stops for the internal routing have also moved to the headtube. This picture clearly shows the angled fork.

Nice stuff! Someone from Trek told me that there was something coming, but that he couldn't provide any more details right now. Glad to see the pics -- even gladder to see Spartacus back!

Yep, '09. Trek is a generous sponsor of the UW cycling team--I follow the hometown brand pretty closely. Are you an alumnus as well?

CB -- close, but not quite. A Bluegold from ages back. Live in Appleton now. Trek is good for WI, and I believe good for the sport. But I don't want to start a flame war with those who disagree:)

I thought it was just a reminder for him to "ride it like he stole it"!

IIRC, that bike was used during one of several tests in "The Forrest of Wallers-Arenberg" one of Paris Roubaix most brutal cobble sections. That bike was fitted with numerous sensors to provide critical data concerning the impact and comfort of these sections in order to build the 'best possible bike' for the classics.
