Are you differentiating mainland China from Taiwan? I ask because Cervelos are already made in Taiwan and I hope you didn't think they were made in Canada or the USA.
I hope their carbon is not made in Taiwan.

Perhaps Bikerjulio clearly understands the difference between 'Made in Taiwan' and 'Made in China'.
Yes, I do. And my first post was my feeble attempt at humour as I had always thought they were made in china.

I understand from a well-known top-end manufacturer that almost everybody is making their bikes in China now. These factories are OEM for multiple (and very well known) brands too - right from the very very top end to the low end. And these Chinese manufacturers have been doing so for so many years that their QC is now equivalent to what was previously done in the manufacturers' home countries. Most of these China factories are owned by Taiwanese (who are leading carbon component manufacturers) - so there is a blurring of line viz-a-viz China and Taiwan made. It is very rare for any manufacturer not to base a big range of their bikes, especially the lower lines in China.
