I am in the process of doing some market research for a web application and I need to know what types of indoor trainers you are using. I'm just trying to determine what is the top used trainers and of what type they are.

Your options are incomplete. There is no 'box' for friction-based trainers (which is the 'right' way to build a trainer for guys in the Great White North).
