I can see at cyclingyong.com any fakes Pinarello frames to sell...he have a Dogma and Prince models listed but looking at the pics,it's the same frame, based on Prince model, don't have a aero seat tube like the original Dogma, only diferent stickers from one model to other. He have too a Colnago listed and other parts like carbon handlebars and seatposts.
Anyone make a deal with this guy?
What do you think?
Looks like the same frame that appears at http://www.farsports.cn/ViewProduct.aspx?id=667 without paint and stickers...

the US importers and the mothership in Italy have sent out messages to dealers and customers to steer clear of these things. For good reason....

True story

I had a guy in a few months ago looking at a dogma. Comes back a few days later telling me he ordered one of these things and saved a "boat load of money.'' I tell him it's not the same thing but whatever. He brings it to us and I refuse to build it as it looks like it's made of paper mache (that'll be important is a second). He gets someone else to build it and they warn the guy that it's a little janky. That was a sunday. Monday Gita sends out an email with two pics of these things with forks sheard off at the headtube. Apparently one didn't make it out of the drive way. Our Wednesday night ride went down as usually. Guy takes this thing out to the ride and 10 min in the fork shears off at the headtube and I sh!t you not..... the fork legs were filled with newspaper. Seriously..... newspaper, with chinese writing. swear to god.... blood all over the place and dudes is getting 3 new teeth and two Ti plates put in his face.

Why do you think Pinarello's are so heavy... filled with gazetta dello sport

Now seriously, there is one guy in my groupride tuesday and thursday that has a DI2 equiped one , Hongfu or Dengu, not really sure. I'll try and ask him tonight how he likes it up to now.
However I'm not riding behind him no more

I agree that many (certainly not all) generics can be of questionable quality, however that newspaper story comes off as pure bollocks.

I wouldn't shit you, you're my favorite turd

In all seriousness..... it had newspaper in it, sweartagod. When the other guys put it together they had to file and sand down the crown to get the race to fit. I swear the steer tube was made of fiber glass....... or faux carbon or something. Sketch man, sketch. They may have used it as a mold release or as a core but, it was friggin' newspaper.

I was going to buy a generic FM028. Those things are one of the baddest looking bikes round in 3k matte. In the end, I decided to get a CAAD10, which is designed and tested by real engineers. I am glad that I did. Even if the FM028 was a solid bike, I would never know for sure. You have to have confidence in your equipment. I have ridden around on used forks that I was not totally sure of and in the back of my mind, I was always worried. Never again.
