Nike doesn't make the shoes. (or commercially available cycling shoes at all) DMT makes their custom shoes, as well as they make custom shoes for most (all) their sponsored athletes. This practice is also why you see the mentioned riders like Schleck/Cancellara riding so many brands. All their shoes are custom anyway.

Who else does DMT make shoes for?
And Fizik do indeed have shoes out. As do Giro.

Here's two articles about factory visits to both the Gaerne factory and the Sidi factory:

Both mention and have photos of the foot lasts of their sponsored pro riders. This gives me the impression that at least the top pros often have their shoes custom made.

They are official apparel and helmet sponsors - and a major rider like Voeckler usually has a bail out on shoes anyway.
Very cool they got the win !
I thought Vockler was on LG shoes (which is also supplying the team with helmts, glasses and other bits of clothing)?

Yeah, knew it was typical for the main contenders (GC/sprint) to run their own gear, but the photo linked here: -Vockler makes it look like he is on either LG shoes, or LG branded shoes (as Lance and Cav run Nike branded shoes, irrespective of the manufacturer).

not to go off topic, but what a moustache that is on Serpa.

I believe Sylvain Chavanel was wearing Carnac (Attraction) shoes during the tour last year.
