grid - do you find you need both sets of rollers to get the right resistance for the specific workout? My crappy minoura rollers are ok for recovery spins but max out at 300W in 53x13 at 90 rpm, so not enough resistance for my FTP workouts. How do you find those Kreitlers?

Judging from Kreitlers website, the bigger the drum, the less resistance (they say 311 W for 71 km/h on the 4.5" ones).

Need a resistance unit, or a fluid/mag trainer, for more resistance.

Yep, I have the two sizes for different resistance. I skate ski in the morning followed by the rollers to pass the winter. Basically anything but a standard trainer. Man are they boring! Good for building up those legs though.

If you want resistance on the Kreitlers without going to a small drum diameter, use the Kreitler Killer Kool headwind unit - that significantly increases the resistance.
