You'd be better off riding that backwards, sitting on the bars and using the seat as tri-bars

Should have got an internal Di2 battery, it makes the bike look cluttered

When someone here decides to do RAAM then I'm sure they bike would look equally cluttered. Props to this person for even undertaking such a ride.

If it didn't have a huge stem erection then that bike would be awesome.

That man sure hates backpacks, can't say I blame him, certainly not a freak bike in my view.

Would tend to agree, except that it seems to be a Lynskey.
Not sure about the down tube bottle cage.
But this thing is purpose built. Some may disagree on the purpose, I suppose. But it is not a freak build.

No RAAM rider in their right mind would carry so much crap. I've never seen a RAAM bike with more than a small pack under the seat, and even that is unnecessary.

Apparently those bags are only for long training rides.

A friend of mine does "Maverick" category racing. That's 400+ miles unsupported.
I would imagine the build above is ideal for that type of racing.
As for RAAM? Those racers are supported by their own team, often with a van or caravan.
Anyway, it isn't a freak, let's move on.
