I was searching Craigslist in the bikes section looking for a used bike for my buddy to get into cycling and saw that posting. So the picture has not been fully verified.

Never seen it, still a heck of a frame for a city/touring bike.

The guy that rides it is very tall and the dimensions are about right for a guy that is that tall to ride that bike. Unfortunately his bike is too small.

Inspired by the thread, I rebuilt this last weekend during a cold snap here.
It has often been called a freak, so I thought I would post it.
Slingshot folding road frameset (steel) circa 1995. Mix of Campy 10 components from the spare parts box.
I rode this frameset (then with a 9 spd Racing Triple drivetrain) across the USA in 2001 with a BOB trailor on the back.

This has to be the best thread on WW

While I don't have a pic, there's an old guy I see around town riding an alloy Pinarello Paris with Euros Wheels and Flat bars. He also has a ridiculous amount of spacers....That was until I saw him last week, and he's upgraded to a Prince of Spain Prince, again with flat bars. It really is a crime against humanity.
Road bike: Pinarello Dogma 60.1
TT bike: Trek Speed Concept

This thread has me very frightened. With all the dorky stuff on my bike, am I a prime offender?

Quite the contrary, I'd say I find your bike rather nice (other than saddle not being my cup of tea, but that's personal anyway).

Pls see if you can make it hideous...

Weirdly, I think that looks awesome. I have no idea why, I don't even like slingshots.
