Can't be too hard on the guy though, he wanted to try drops and tried to make it work on his existing bike, but realized 70cm wide road bars just won't do . Now he's on the hunt for a proper road bike.

Not sure that is a pure freak, but it is damn funny.

My guess is a Deere executive had a mid-life crisis, decided to do a tri and waved the corporate flag while doing so.

If someone finds a pic out there in the ether of this frameset built up, please post. (Crossing fingers for garish yellow tires, and other color appropriate kit - please please please.)

A bit strange yes, but if you flip the stem it could work nicely. :)

I think that is just the position of someone who is out of shape... not that I would know! ;-)

I see things like that Felt and have three immediate thoughts:
- That position must be cosmically unstable.
- If I were a shop owner or shop mechnic and a customer insisted on leaving the store with a fit like that, I would make them sign a waiver.
- If a mechanic or fitter set someone up like that they should be fired for negligence.

Agree with you Stolichnaya! Terrifying. If i saw that on the road I'd get as far away as possible from it!
Probably bought as parts and assembled by the owner. At least i'd hope so....

Just saw this for sale, a very interesting bar position, would be very awkward shifting
