Well thats such a lump of a bike as to get Revoshift on drop bars they are generally separable and made of steel and the rest of the bike quality will follow suit, he's hardly gonna notice the weight penalty the wood and metal fixings adds

That BMC is actually pretty cool. I'd rock that around town. I wouldn't lock it up, but it would be a ridiculously fun 'around the town' bike, if not a bit expensive.

If extra capital was something I had, I would probably build something in a similar fashion just as a cafe racer.

I'm not sure if this has been posted already. I'll guess that it has - surely.

This was spotted recently in Truckee, California. It was locked up during their Truckee Thursdays event. Yes, that's a second headset between the seat-tube and top-tube(s). No, it does not have a locking mechanism to keep it in place while riding.

Yeah, when I'm riding my bike with a friend standing on my shoulders, that's what I do too. Pop a wheelie, backwards.

I would have said most of those stunts were technically impossible, shows what I know.

So, are those UCI legal, or is there some kind of diamond frame violation there?

I guess it's still 2 triangles.... that fold in half

@prendrefeu - I'm pretty sure swing bikes were even 'mass produced' maybe by Schwinn (or someone like that) but AFAIK big wheeled versions like the one you posted are far less common than things that resemble a Schwinn Krate.
