"Lost in translation"
It is a spectacular "working equipement". In comparison to the predecessor felt took a big step forward. The F1 is one of the top light bikes in the market. The complete bike weight is 5650 gramms, the frame set (frame, fork and headset) impressive 1196 gramms.
The 1196 gramms are impressive because the headset stiffness (78Nm/°) is as well as the bottom bracket stiffness (108 N/mm) and it will suit any driver weight (also very strong sprinters).
The frame performance (characteristics) is/are better than some much heavier frames.
The on road test did not detect any weaknesses.
The steering is "prompt" and willing without being nervous.
A high running smoothness and a high directional stability at highspeed and "when you climbing out of the saddle". The sitting position is elongated (craned) but not unconvenient. The geometrie invites the driver to accelerate. The wheelset is not stiff enough. (reason why the F1 did not get the best mark)
Ride comfort is moderate (measured and on road test) but does not affect the driving pleasure.
An amazing complete package makes the F1 a race capable allrounder - and wins the test. (Compared with Look 695 and AX_Lightness Alpha) Because of por wheelset stiffness it did not get the best possible mark.
