organizers should be required to use the slanted barriers for final 2-300 meters instead of upright w/ feet. it's much safer to crash into the angled barriers since it disperses the impact and there's not nearly enough space for a wheel or foot to get caught on and flip a rider

Or use the barriers US organizers use with feet that are almost flush with the ground.

But those flat footed barriers are much weaker... They cannot really hold the crowd pushing against them.
The slanted barriers are better, but anyhow, crashing at 60+ kph it's never pleasant, barriers or not.

Right, but had it been the flat footed barriers, that crash wouldn't've happened as Stybar would have had the extra 6 inches he was looking for.

54cm Cervelo R5 Morton

Availability: In stock.
$5,000.00
Quick Overview
This Cervelo R5 was ridden by Lachlan Morton during the 2013 race season.
This low mileage beauty was just ridden to church on Sundays by a little old hipster and never even finished a race.

doesn't include the ironic, gift-shop souvenir license plate under the saddle --> not worth it.

An riding the Tour de l'Ain Cyclo at the moment and got held up by the pro race going home today.

First bunch through, 5 min later, the rest, 7 min later Cav, completely on his own with the broom wagon behind him and the Col de Menthieres and a nasty drag back up to Lelex for the finish still to come. Horrid conditions today, poor guy trying to ride himself into form #respect

Update- well done by Cav to get back on with a bunch
