Great race today, if a bit curious that the GC contenders didn't try harder for a stage win.

The spectators, however, were nutters. I still think Rogers'd have won, but imagine if he'd taken both riders down?

Yeah.....people are idiots. You give a push to the groupetto, not 2nd place on the road.

Zoncolan would be more suited to a TT IMHO, much line Plan de Corones.

It's so brutal that even the top guys are really just keeping it upright and steady as they can. Survival for the rest. If anyone goes to watch, the poor guys near the back are in real pain.

I'm really struggling to give some credibility to the result which is a shame.

Cant imagine doing that for that length of distance.. I have some of those 14-15% grades on my ride.. but only for a few hundred meters.. forgot the distance they are doing it... would take me 90min or 3hours walking..

Some light hearted antics from Manuel Fumic and Marco Fontana in Albstadt (UCI XCO).

Derek, have you photoshopped the Adam Hansen picture with Lance Armstrong's face?

Whatever you think of Oleg, he certainly has passion for the sport and that it's good for the sport.

First to meet Rogers at the finish line.
