Great win for Gilbert. Even though I picked Valverde I actually meant Gilbert. It was a typo :D
Moviestar burnt themselves out again.
Rodriguez not in good shape. Hope he will be ok.
What's happened to Dan Martin? allergies again?
Kwiatkowski taking out his team mate TM.

I don't recall Kelly saying "making the calculations" once.

doesn't this say it all? (until some more news from the vial comes out?)

Perfect move by Samu to setup the counter by Gilbert.....nothing anyone could do against that as they had to respect the move of Sanchez

Yeah, when I saw Gerrans and Kwiatkowski go after Sanchez, I knew Gilbert had this one in the bag. Very well played strategically by BMC.

Frank finishes @23, Andy DNF. Was he involved in a crash or is it really the end, whatever the reason?

Poor Andy. Nothing is going his way. I just cannot see him turning things round.
Concerning the vial. If UKAD are involved, does that mean it is a UK rider?

No, it means it was a UK spectator.

Schleck crashed and then abandoned after chasing for a bit.

Dude needs to quit cycling, he is wasting valuable salary $$$ and will likely never register another result ever again.

BMC is certainly riding A LOT better since the end of last years Tour. The new performance director (I believe that was what they replaced) is doing a VERY good job managing the team now.

This pills look like SCaps. Salt, potassium, sodium bicarbonate. Good stuff. I also carry them in a vial.

Did anyone else find it a bit funny* that someone would find pills on a race course and assume that, yes, pills taken during the actual race would be doping?
Has the public not learned about how doping actually takes place after all of the exposés and detailed accounts shown and written on seemingly all forms of media across the past ten years?? If you're a fan of the sport, even casually because the race comes by your house, would you not have at least learned how doping actually takes place over a sustained period of time simply through hearing about the same sport's doping cases?

*funny as in perplexingly odd, not 'ha-ha' or 'ja-ja' funny.

Go to CBS.com and watch the 60 minutes bit on Alex Rodriguez. He would actually take a pill during games in order to dilute a post game sample. So it is possible that the person using this vial of whatever could be doing something similar, however I doubt it. My guess is it is a caffeine pill in that vial - if it is anything.
