Either that was an attack from 250 meters out, or a super duper long sprint. Kittel was unrivalled today.

Cool article on cobbles training and what it takes....some pretty insane numbers!

I am amazed guys can do that sort of power while getting pounded by the cobbles (it's a separate question how accurate SRM is with all the bouncing...)

Frank has had some decent showings. Andy is having trouble making it to the finish line.

Some more cobble power, Michael Hepburn's Flanders file...pretty punchy TSS.

I was wondering how is that possible that Andy is such a ghost nowadays. He used to be super strong in mountains, always fighting, showing his talent and abilities. And now? I'm quite sure he's still training similarly and can't get proper results... Is he mentally broken or what?

Wiggins as well, the motivation just doesn't seem to be there anymore. Without the drive you are never going to win anything.

I agree but in this case (also Contador eg) you don't have such a huge difference. Wiggins still has the engine, placing high in time trials, Conta in his "bad days" couldn't win but was in top 10 in fact. Andy? Having serious trouble with finishing stages and sometimes losing 15-20 minutes - on stages with uphill finish...

haven't made a tumblr dedicated to bike throws but i've made like 5 or so from this season

you can check out all the gifs i make, cycling, soccer (sometimes), and car related at http://natelife.tumblr.com/tagged/natelifegif
