^Beard envy?

I've got a bottle of fine Italian soda I'll be drinking on Sunday. I enjoy MSR more than any other classic.

Going with Nathanong87 here. I'd like to see The Most Interesting Cyclist in the World win (aka the bearded Paolini)!

Otherwise; Kristoff! :-)

they're dropping like flies already. No Phinney (fever) no Moser (knee pain)! I don't know either would have won but TP could have been a dark horse.

Tinea Pedis? Now that would have been a dark horse.

I think my race invite got lost in the mail.

It's great because it's the start of the big Classics but it's really one Classic that watching the final hour is all you truly need.

From memory, Merckx in 1976.

One more sleep! So hard to pick MSR. Sagan? Cancellara? Van Avermaet? Gilbert? Degenkolb? Cav? The list is massive, which is part of the fun of MSR...

I pick Sagan for the win. Or perhaps an obscure rider can surprise us all. Or maybe a miracle will happen, and let Cavendish win.

MSR will be Sagan's first monument win. I simply don't see a tactic that would put someone else in a position to beat him.
