I was going to say the same thing, but the lens could be throwing it off.

Movistar actually rode by while I was tucking into my lunch today. It was chilly today with everyone in full jackets and legs so not surprised he wasn't sporting the jersey.
Kinda felt weird tho, people were congratulating Costa with Piti right there...awkward!

I understand that in some part they wanted to get a bike under him, but he is leaving Movistar who is also not going to be on Pinarello, so why even take the time to paint one up?
The kit can be seen more anyway. Merida or whomever is sponsoring Lampre next season should be designing one right now.

Pinarello bike "won" the WC, not Merida bike:!:
If Merida makes a WC bike for Costa..... it will be just awkward. My point of view.

Happened when Evans won on a Canyon and moved straight to BMC and showed it off in all their ads.

Because perhaps it will get posted on internet forums and people will discuss and net result in more brand exposure?

I was thinking of asking the same question KW asked re: Horner.
He must be asking for too much, money or otherwise. Plus the age factor.
Then I thought some more about it and I think the way cyclingnews reports it exacerbates this issue. They quote his agent who says he's surprised but then later says they're working on something. A month ago the guy was washed up and I would imagine a lot of teams are fairly set for rosters and budgets and thus don't have a ton of cash to drop on a GC guy asking for GT winning $.

cyclingnews also reports today on Andy Schlecks comeback and upcoming goals for the 100th time in the last year.

For those of you that missed it, CyclingCloud has uploaded the Milano-Torino race (full broadcast)
over on Youtube.
I thought it was exciting, it's a shame it doesn't get as much coverage as it should. The race fills a nice post-WC void as the road season winds down.
