Horner is a boss....not sure he has it in him for the whole sack of potatoes, but he'll be around.

I held Horner as one of my favourites before the race started. He seems very motivated and eager to prove himself. He may however be burning his matches a little early. But he'll be around :-)

Horner and Basso are really interesting for this one. They don't have age on their side but much to prove and missing much of the season due to injury makes for great late season performances when others are struggling with fatigue and burnout.

And big peleton picture. pretty good actually.

Firefox can't show the second one, but if you save the file, picture viewer software can show the image.

But how wide are his bars? 46?

Edit: Bikeradar says 44 in 2011. Looks wider though, might be because of his slim torso.

Is that the leg he had surgery on in the spring?

He has always been like that, it is just a congenital thing. His left toe naturally points in.

He does seem to be on some wide bars, I guess it all goes back to what feels best for you.

Horner has always been pigeon toed like that.

IIRC he rides 44s. I saw his bike in person and it looks pretty normal, but for the Pro Tour its basically a beach cruiser. If you look at some old videos, particularly the movie Pro, he used to ride the super slammed aggro setup back in the day
