There are some wonderful big pave stones along the waterfront there. Fun to ride at speed.

I sometimes hang my worst enemy pictures on my wall so I'm building up anger. Don't tell me it is Aidis bike.

maggierose wrote:@KWalker, so what are you arguing? Nobody is arguing if men are faster; it was a question of whether or not women could compete in a pro tour race. I maintain they aren't going to get dropped.

If your group ride dropped "Female pro international CX racers" it's because they didn't have anything to prove; they didn't like the group; or the ride didn't fit their training requirements.

What is your state TT? According to VA state TT results (https://www.usacycling.org/results/?permit=2012-1973" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

The Cat 3 winner averaged: 26.99 mph
Cat 1/2 winner averaged: 27:88 mph
The fastest time was in Masters 40+ at 29.53 mph

Again, post the data to back up your argument. We're all on Strava/Garmin right? I'll bring a master's woman to your ride and she won't get dropped. If she gets dropped I pay for my travel expenses & hers. If she hangs you pay our way. :D

In order not to clutter this thread I PM'ed you, but here are the highlights:

-I never said I was faster than Vos or am an impressive rider, which is why I think its funny when pro women CX racers and NRC racers have a hard time on rides that I manage to ride just fine. I would hope they would be much better than I. The two pro CX racers were hammering near the front and taking big pulls, riding active to moves, etc. and got shat out the back on the first steep roller section (1 of them) and the false flat after (the other) where raw power gets you by.

-Last year's TT champs were the same weekend as Master's nats and a big stage race. The winner of the cat 1 race, a rider who barely podiums local road races, rode a 50:38 40k TT, which puts him at 3rd on the women's olympic TT speed list, but in an event that was 25% longer. The prior year's winner rode it in 49:30, which ties him with Armstrong's speed again in a longer TT. He also won the Master's TT the same day with a speed in his second TT that would put him in the top 5.

-I accept that bet.

-Lars Boom is awesome.

To bad that bike change it isn't covered in pictures or video highlights. Only pictures with Boom on; first his TT-bike and later his Race-Bike.

Tomeke pissed himself after ToC last year. Jens can apparently handle a shot or two dozen.

Anyone have any speculation on the Cancellara/Fuentes links?
